Irene Ntale, Lydia Jazmine and Lilian Mbabazi together with the other artists that performed at the Grand Finale of the Club Beatz online concert
The six weeks of Club Beatz online entertainment ended over the weekend. Several artists entertained their guests in the online concert that was hosted by comedienne and actress Martha Kay.
The 2-hour-show kicked off with South Africa's Mafikizolo who were performing from Johannesburg. Afro-soul music star Kenneth Mugabi was next in line doing his vocals.
Navio and Pallaso followed in that order doing their new and old hits.
The highlight of the show was when Lydia Jazmine, Irene Ntale and Lillian Mbabazi performed together, reminding the fans of the once all girl group Blu3.
Irene Ntale was on the guitar as Lydia Jaz and Mbabazi did the backing up on their respective songs. They first did Nkubanja by Lydia Jazmine which they pulled off so well considering it was a live event.
Irene Ntale's Kyolowoza was the next song the trio performed only to wind up with the local segment of of their songs with Blu3's Vitamin.
The fans are proposing that the three should be thinking of teaming up already.
It was time for Irene Ntale to put the guitar down for them to try out Tina Turner's 'Simply the Best', this got out the very best all of them and it was not long before the social media judges were giving their verdict after the performance, the vast majority seemed to say that they pulled it off, though they advised them to keep to their local dialect.
Irene Ntale's guitar skills and Lillian Mbabazi's vast experience with her Sundowners band gave them an edge over Lydia Jazmine.
Cindy the King herself crowned off the performance with her squat dance moves clad in a creme outfit that left some to conclude that she was expecting.
The Club Beatz At Home was organized by Steve Jean under his Fenon Records and sponsored by Club Pilsener.
